Renowned soprano Alexandra Deshorties has sung with the Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera, Houston Grand Opera, Welsh National Opera, Grand Théâtre de Genève, and many other prestigious opera houses around the world. Now, she is transitioning into an administrative role with Syracuse Opera that encompasses social media, marketing, artist experiences, and community engagement projects. Her rich background in fine arts and relationships with acclaimed opera professionals is a great asset to our Syracuse Opera family. When not working, Alexandra enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family, cats, and many chickens.
